| This article is about the spell. For the perk, see Freeze Field. |
Freeze Charge is a projectile modifier that causes affected projectiles to freeze some liquid materials in a small radius as they travel, as well as enemies that get hit. The projectile will also rain down snow as it flies, which settles on the ground.
Creatures hit by the projectile will become
Frozen, unless they are freeze immune, in which case they will only become blue for a short time. A creature that has been frozen solid can be dealt severe damage in a single hit, as long as that hit inflicts Melee damage (like a kick, or Tentacle slap).
Multiple Freeze Charge modifiers on a single projectile will increase the snow produced.

Tips
- This spell, along with Electric Charge, are some of the only damage increasing spells in the game that don't increase cast delay, making them ideal for rapid-fire weapons, assuming you have sufficient mana.
- Rapid-fire weapons can also repeatedly freeze an enemy, allowing you to easily keep attacking it until it dies.
- This spell can be used to easily freeze an enemy, which you can then kick to insta-kill it.
- Lava freezes into solid rock, just as if sprayed with water. It will be re-melted by lava.
- Using this with long-lasting, quick-firing projectiles may slow down Noita, even on a powerful computer.
