Touch of Blood

Touch of Blood is a very hazardous Material type spell. When cast, everything in a small radius around the casting location is replaced with a material - in this case Blood. This is usually fatal to any living entity caught in the effect.
Tips
- The damage dealt by Touch of spells is equal to 100 times the current HP of the target. This is inflicted as Curse damage.
- If cast without a trigger, you will almost certainly instantly die regardless of HP.
- Use very carefully with a trigger spell (ideally Long-Distance Cast) to avoid instant death.
- Beware - Long-Distance Cast does not protect you from Touch of Grass as its radius is larger than the other Touch of spells
- Beware - Long-Distance Cast can still bounce off enemy shields.
- The Saving Grace perk will save you.
- 7 stacks of the Stainless Armour perk are enough to avoid instant death.
- Ambrosia also blocks the damage.
- If you are standing in a pool of Ambrosia, it will be transmuted by the spell, removing your source of protection.
- Prevents projectiles (in a very general sense, including, e.g., "projectiles" from Sea of spells and Notes) added after it in the same casting state from firing. They are still drawn as normal and any associated modifiers to cast delay, spread, etc., are still applied. Expiration Trigger projectiles removed in this manner will not release their payload.
- Touch of Blood has a synergy with the Vampirism perk as it creates a pool of blood for you to drink, restoring about 30 health with the potential of 40 if the full circle is used. This is very strong in combination with Unlimited Spells as this is a source of infinite healing.
