Noita (listen Audio.svg) is a magical action rogue-lite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. Fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using wands you've created yourself.

Noita is inspired by underground classics such as Liero (listen Audio.svg), falling sand games, and modern roguelike-likes, -lites and -lite-like-lites.

Noita history

Noita uses Nolla Games’ in-house "Falling Everything Engine".

Noita was released in Early-Access on September 24th, 2019, and the version 1.0 release on 15 October 2020.

Noita is available on Steam, Humble Store, itch.io and GOG.

Noita - The Long Journey of a Game Idea was an exhibition at The Finnish Museum of Games (Suomen Pelimuseo) in September–December 2021.
