Secret Seeds

In the mod settings of Apotheosis the player can set a specific seed to be used next time they generate a world.

Some seed inputs have special affects on the world however, and will generate a random seed each time they're used.

The seed names and effects are as follows:

Hardcore

  • Healing Spells are uncopyable.
  • Most enemies have additional health depending on the biome.
  • Some creatures from late game biomes may have additional attack speed.
  • Most bosses have significantly increased health.
  • Enemies drop 50% less gold.
  • Alt-Fire teleport bolt replaces normal teleport bolt.
  • Enemies spawn 1 NG+ level earlier.

Nightcore

  • All Hardcore Changes apply
  • The player also takes 100% increased damage

Towerclimb

  • All enemies can appear in all biomes

Alchemistdream

  • Alchemists and liquid bubbles appear more frequently
  • All liquid bubbles have the Glass Cannon perk, resulting in much larger liquid contents
  • All potions are replaced with large potions

Missingmagic

  • Half of all spells are locked and can not be used
  • Disabled spells are shown as 'faulty magic' with a lock icon when dropped.
  • Currently, due to the random nature of this mechanic, spells such as Mass Materia Conversion can be disabled and can soft-lock the player.

Addict

  • 20 Fungal & Creature shifts are applied at the start of the run

Poverty

  • Most enemies drop no gold

Downunder

  • The world is flipped upsidedown

Tuonela

  • All world seeds are applied simultaneously
  • Victory can only be achieved through Ascension
  • The Lake and Lava Lake are swapped
  • The Jungle is replaced with the Red Jungle
  • The Aesthete of Heat is replaced with the Aesthete of Water
  • Enemies drop 75% less gold
  • The player has 200 starting health instead of 100
  • Kolmisilma will drop various spells upon death rather than a portal to The Work
  • The random shifts which occur on each seed can not affect certain materials needed for quests.
    • However, the player can still manually shift certain quest materials away if desired.
