Projectile modifier spells that add a trail of a material to a projectile as it moves.

Acid Trail is a projectile modifier that causes an affected projectile to continuously spawn acid material. Acid will react with and dissolve most materials, as well as cause most creatures to take a large amount of material damage.

Tips

  • Acid Trail is a reliable, unlimited source of acid which is also very dangerous to use. Handle with extreme care.
  • Acid melts through steel and brickwork, making this modifier guarantee easy access through the floors of Hiisi Base, The Vault, and Holy Mountains.
  • Using Acid Trail with non-bouncing projectiles is recommended to prevent self-injury.
  • Slower moving spells will leave behind much more acid than faster ones, making Energy Orb a good spell to pair with it.
    • Pools of water (and other liquids) slow projectile spells naturally, which in turn allows you to produce much more acid. This is an effective (albeit slow) way to reach the bottom of the Lake without the Breathless perk.
