Earthquake Shot

Earthquake Shot is a projectile modifier that causes affected spells to trigger a small Earthquake on projectile's death, splitting solid material into chunks and sending it crumbling downwards.

Crumbling pixels are transformed into Collapsed Concrete. The amount of damage inflicted depends on falling velocity.

Tips

  • The affected area seems to be about 1/4 of the Earthquake spell, making this version potentially much safer to use.
  • Can be used as a substitute for Black Hole in certain situations as long as you have a digging wand, since Collapsed Concrete is fairly brittle and can be easily dug through.
  • Kills made from collapsing pixels count as accidental damage, and will reward trick kills for double the Gold as well as trigger the Trick Blood Money perk.
  • As nothing protects against Physics-crush Damage Crush collision damage (aside from Ambrosia), this is an effective weapon to use against enemies resistant to spells.

Trivia

  • The earthquake effect also occurs after 99999999 frames or ~ 19.3 days of real time have passed, which is probably a failsafe.
