Teleport Spells
Projectiles spells that involve relocation, affecting either the caster, a target, or both.
Return is a projectile spell which places a stationary white projectile at the cast location. You will be teleported to its location when Return expires (by default, about 4 seconds after casting).
Tips
- The projectile can move due to the Homing and Boomerang projectile modifiers, and their perk counterparts Homing Shots and Boomerang Spells, and the Projectile Repulsion Field perk, though this is often undesired.
- Nolla and other lifetime reducing modifiers can cause Return to take effect instantaneously. Combined with a Trigger spell (such as Long-Distance Cast), this can be used to create a more flexible equivalent to a Teleport Bolt.
- Return can be used to transport wands and items in a biome into the next Holy Mountain, or to briefly edit wands, before Returning back up.
- It cannot teleport you into unloaded chunks. Because of this, it is not effective for long distance teleportation (see Expert Guide: Long Distance Travel)
- When paired with Long-Distance Cast, Return can be used to exit and re-enter the Holy Mountain without collapsing it.
