Spell modifiers that adjust the lifetime of the affected projectiles.

Nolla (listen Audio.svg) is a projectile modifier spell that sets any affected spell's duration to effectively 2 frames (even though the tooltip claims it to be 0). Projectiles will almost instantly fizzle out and summoned explosives will almost immediately detonate.

Tips

  • Can be used to great effect with a Trigger spell to deliver 0-duration bombs or other summoned explosives to the exact spot you want.
  • Will make Giga Disc Projectile and Summon Omega Sawblade last only one frame, making them perfectly safe to cast.
  • Rapid-fire Nolla Teleport Bolts or Small Teleport Bolts make for very fast movement.
  • Forces projectiles to expire 2 frames after casting.
    • Runs a script on the second frame, setting the lifetime of the projectile to 1 frame; totaling to 2 frames of lifetime (assuming the projectile doesn't already die in 1 frame).

Trivia

  • "Nolla" is Finnish (and, incidentally, Swedish as well) for "Zero".
  • The developer (and publisher) of Noita is named Nolla Games.
