Chunk of Soil

Chunk of Soil is a spell that conjures a ball of Soil at the casting location.

If used without a Trigger, it may spawn the soil on you, preventing movement and breathing.

Tips

A rare spell. It can be used to suffocate enemies or block off passages to stop anyone from following you.
If used with Summon Hollow Egg, this spell can create a barrier to protect yourself with in case of polymorphing. Simply make sure to have the means to dig out afterwards.
In the case you have no means to dig, moving in a rotating pattern can destroy a small amount of surrounding terrain, enabling you to breathe and escape some of the soil trapping you.
Explosive Projectile will increase the amount of soil created.
Casting together with Firecrackers or Nuke will change the material created to active gunpowder or fire, respectively.
Soil is easily removed via most digging methods, (and also by many destructive spells), so while a particularly easy material to work with it's not suited to fortifications.

Soil modified with Explosive Projectile gives... more soil. This is standard Soil, and Soil with 5x Explosive Projectile.

Sure saves on clicks. Keep in mind that Explosive Projectile does give the soil the ability to destroy terrain as it spawns in.

Adding the Firecrackers modifier to Soil causes it to spawn Active Gunpowder instead - spicy!

Firecrackers doesn't stack, but Explosive Projectile still does the same thing.
