Projectile Orbit Spells
Modifiers that add orbiting projectiles to a spell. They cut through both terrain and enemies, and only disappear when its host projectile expires or on direct impact with an enemy.
Larpa Modifiers
Spell modifiers that cause projectiles to throw out duplicates of themselves.
Orbit Larpa is a projectile modifier spell that causes affected projectiles to have four duplicates rotating themselves.
Obtaining the Spell
Orbit Larpa can only be found after defeating Suomuhauki, who also has a one in four chance of dropping the spell when killed.
Tips
- Other projectile modifiers are not applied to the copies of the spell.
- If used on a spell with a Trigger or Timer, the payload will only be delivered by the original spell and not by the copies.
- Use with Black Hole or Worm Launcher for larger digging area.
- Causes a lot of damage when used with Magic Missile or other explosive spells.
- Orbiting projectiles that normally would be safe to the player like Energy Orb will produce explosions that are harmful to the player and generate trick kills if they are killed because the main projectile was killed (e.g., from hitting something or running out of lifetime sooner than the copy).
- If multiple Orbits of the same or different types are placed, only the first Orbit of the spell block will work and its effect will be multiplied by the number of Orbits.
- Orbiting projectiles will have their lifetime limits set to 2 minutes, so on typical short-lived projectiles, the copies will typically not run out of lifetime before the main projectile, but will expire early on long-lasting projectiles.
- Some types of orbiting projectiles will move through terrain when they would normally collide with terrain.
