Utility spells for manifesting walls and floors out of thin air.

Summon Platform is a utility type spell that creates a short platform above or below you when cast. This platform naturally lasts for around 5 seconds before dissipating, but this time can be extended using lifetime modifiers. The platform is very static, nothing will add motion or rotation to it. As a physical object it can cause  Suffocation damage.

While highly durable and resistant to explosion, the platform is not indestructible (Luminous Drill is particularly effective at cutting through them). Summon Platform is suited to being modified to last indefinitely.

Tips

• Use to block off tunnels while fighting enemies, to avoid being mobbed from two directions at once.
• Can be cast in mid-air to provide a temporary rest stop while levitating long distances.
• Use as a perfectly flat, horizontal surface to bounce Healing Bolts back down onto yourself.
• Applying Personal Debuff modifiers will turn the platform into a fixed turret.
• Can be used as a form of digging by wedging yourself up against a surface, summoning a platform encasing part or all of your character (either by casting against a wall, or by casting once to the side and another time against the first platform), then spamming A+W+D to trigger the Unstuck mechanic. Be careful to let the oxygen meter recharge between uses if it has drained.
• While the platforms cannot be set in motion or rotated, they can be moved from one spot to another using Vacuum Field.
• Fluids created by/trapped inside the platform tend to erupt all at once when the platform vanishes.
  • The effect is particularly strong where large amounts of fluid are created in a small/single pixel area (e.g. Larpa Explosion and/or high numbers of Divide By applied to Cement or other single drop material spells).
  • This can be used to create instantly hardening cement (the time spent trapped inside the platform being counted toward the time it takes to solidify).
