Spell modifiers that cause projectiles to throw out duplicates of themselves.

Copy Trail is a Modifier type spell that causes affected projectiles to leave a trail of copies of themselves behind in a line as they move. While not referred to as such, this spell works the same way as spells in the Larpa family, differing from Chaos Larpa only in the initial speed of the copies.

Tips

  • This spell limits the lifetime of projectiles it modifies to a maximum of 200 frames (~3.3) seconds.
    • Only the initial projectile gets limited lifetime, copies are unaffected.
    • Null Shot and/or True Orbit are highly effective when used with Larpa modifiers, the lifetime increase (and reduction in damage) is applied only to the original projectile, which then has plenty of time to produce lots of damaging copies of itself.
  • Pairing this modifier with spells with naturally long lifetime (such as Bombs, Summon Fly Swarm, etc.) will create a massive amount of copies.
  • Created copies don't inherit any modifiers that affect the parent projectile.
