Critical on Oiled Enemies is a Modifier type spell that adds +100% critical chance for hits landed on enemies with the Effect oiled.png Oiled status effect. Multiple stacks of this modifier each add another +100%, with any crit chance above 100% increasing the size of the bonus damage multiplier.

Tips

  • This modifier is similar to Critical on Burning in that viable enemies are usually burning while oiled, however this one is also useable against robots (which can get oiled but will not burn).
  • Oil and Oil Trail both add a modification to projectiles they are multicast with that directly applies the Effect oiled.png Oiled effect upon hit.
    • The target does not need to ever come into contact with the material, the status effect coming directly from the projectile.
    • If using a With Trigger projectile to deliver a payload containing Crit On Oiled, the material spell can be multicast with the trigger projectile, which applies the status effect on hit, ready for the subsequent payload hits to crit from.
    • Oil Trail produces a lot of oil when used on slow moving and/or long lived projectiles, whic can be dangerous without Fire Immunity.
  • Divide By can be used to make many copies, boosting damage immensely.
