Path modifiers Spells
Spell modifiers that change the flight-path of the affected projectiles.
Slithering Path is a projectile modifier which causes the modified spell to slither forward in a snake-like pattern, doubling the speed of the projectile.
Tips
- This modifier may be useful in making projectiles travel through a wider area, increasing the chances it will hit something. More useful in bursting-style combos using formations with wide spread.
- If applied to a projectile that has a short lifetime, like Lightning Bolt, it will only look like it only makes the initial firing be at an angle. Increasing lifetime will allow for slithering.
- If applied to Lightning Bolt it will go twice its usual distance, due to having no terminal velocity.
- Projectiles with no base speed will slither when moved by gravity fields, Like Black Hole or Projectile Gravity Field.
- Can be very risky to use with friendly-fire and exploding projectiles.
- The amount of angle based on time since cast. Faster projectiles will produce longer waves, because they travel more in less time.
- Some projectiles can't slither at all, most notably Bomb Cart, Summon Egg, Summon Hollow Egg and Tentacle.
