Spell modifiers that cause projectiles to gain additional effects when striking targets with certain stains.
Explosion On Slimy Enemies and Giant Explosion On Slimy Enemies are projectile modifiers that causes the projectile to explode when striking an enemy wet with the Slimy status. Also comes in a larger charge-limited variant.
The normal version creates a 69 damage explosion of radius 15, while the giant version creates a 125 damage explosion of radius 100.
Tips
- Consumes mana (and charges) on casting, so will be wasted when striking enemies not covered in slime.
- As slime is a very abundant liquid in Noita, this modifier is more situationally useful than its alcohol-based counterpart.
- Synergizes well with Slime Mist, and since slime does not burn, it can be combo'd with every other spell element.
- Note that if you put Explosion on Slimy Enemies directly on Slime mist, the explosion will not trigger unless the enemy is inside the center of the mist. (Homing can be used to center the mist on enemies). Having another projectile with the modifier can sometimes be more useful.
- Modifiers that affect explosions, such as Explosive Projectile, also affect the explosions created by this modifier.
