Fortune Teller is a passive Perk that grants the ability to summon a Crystal Ball for 50 
. The ball will explode on contact with enemies, dealing explosion damage equal to 25% of the max HP you had when the ball was summoned.
Notes
- Stacking the perk will decrease the price of summoning a crystal ball by 20%.
- With 5 stacks of the perk, summoning a crystal ball costs around 33 .
- With 5 stacks of the perk, summoning a crystal ball costs around 33
- Crystal Balls have a built-in Rotate Towards Foes effect.
- When held in your hand, a Crystal Ball will shine a purple beam that acts as a light through the fog of war.
Fortunes
Crystal Balls come with one of 40 random "fortunes" that can be inspected by hovering over the item. These often offer gameplay tips or other insight.
The first Crystal Ball summoned in a run will always display "It glows ethereally. Throw it at an enemy to deal heavy damage!" in non-glyph text.

If summoned at the Stargazer structure, a Crystal Ball will not display the usual message. Instead, the message will be chosen, in order, from the following list. This is the main method of learning about the Death Quest.
