Mod:Apotheosis/Status Effects
Status effects are a number of certain afflictions or buffs that can affect both you and enemies independently from perks. They are gained through staining and consuming potions and materials (usually liquids), enemy attacks, and certain spells. All status effects will work at full strength for their entire duration or as long as there's at least one percent stain left on you.
Note that not all potions will give the same effects when consumed instead of stained, and will often cause vomiting instead. There are a few perks that have effects similar to status effects.
When you re-enter the game, there are some effects that are doubled, so you can exploit it for example Greased Lightning, Haavoittajamestari's Heartache and Hungry Ghost's Extra modifiers.
Some enemies have built-in immunities to certain status effects.
