The Juvenile Fire Spider (in-game name Nuori Tulihämähäkki) is a rare enemy most commonly found prowling the Core Mines inside a nest-like area featuring various eggs.
Behavior
Will crawl around and periodically fire a barrage of 3 meteors, destroying terrain and eating through a lot of health if not dodged.
Additionally upon taking damage, Nuori Tulihämähäkki will retaliate by launching Fire Bolts towards the player's direction.
Upon reaching half health, the spider will loose it's rocky shell and move more aggressively, as well as occasionally summon a timed explosion on the player's position.
Combat Tips
- Despite the imminent danger, it may be worth killing if encountered as it drops the elusive Spell Infusion spell upon death.
- While Nuori Tulihämähäkki is resistant to most damage types, it is very vulnerable to water, spells such as Sea of Water, Sphere of Water or a Water Potion can deal significant damage.
- If the player strays too far from the spider after initiating combat, it may summon a timed explosive even if it still has it's rocky exterior.
