The Fizzle modifier gives the affected spell a small (10%) chance to "short-circuit". When a short-circuit occurs, the affected projectile "breaks" into multiple Burst of Air-like projectiles which start to diverge in random directions, following a chaotic path similar to a spell modified by Chaotic Path. The fizzles do 5 damage each, and are not affected by other modifiers within the cast spell.
It can be useful for speeding up wands, in a similar way to Heavy Spread.
