Omega Death Cross is a projectile spell which spawns a massive cross of glowing magic that explodes after a short time and then explodes a second time with an even larger effect.
It is the larger counterpart of Giga Death Cross, which in turn is the larger counterpart of Death Cross, similar to the Black Hole, Giga Black Hole, and Omega Black Hole spells.
Tips
- Caution! The Omega Death Cross is created at the point of casting, which means that if you use it in isolation it will appear right beside you!
- To make this spell more useful it is advisable to use a spell with a Trigger to place it for you, such as Spark Bolt, but with the massive explosion area, it is highly advised to have some kind of Explosion Immunity.
- While Explosion Immunity will render the player immune to the bulk of the damage from Omega Death Cross, keep in mind that the explosion can daze you for a short amount of time and unlike its two weaker counterparts can light you on fire.
- If paired with the homing modifiers (or Homing Shots perk) the Omega Death Cross will move and seek out enemies in the time before it explodes, however this effect is often negligible as it is quite finicky and the explosion area is so massive anyway.
- Using Freeze Charge or Electric Charge will allow the Omega Death Cross to freeze or stun enemies that touch it.
