Sticky Fungus is a glowing magenta liquid that is created when Fungus Blood comes into contact with [slime].
Dried Fungus is the material that is left behind after Sticky Fungus dries over time.
Characteristics
Sticky Fungus is found most often in the Fungal Caverns. Its bright pink glow may cause it to be mistaken for Polymorphine occasionally. When in contact with air, Sticky Fungus will slowly dry out, turning into the inert Dried Fungus.
Dried Fungus will not spread to air above it like Weird Fungus, but will instead grow downward through solid materials beneath it. It cannot be eaten, but can be rehydrated into Sticky Fungus with Water.
