Midas Meat is a passive Perk that applies an aura to the player that converts many types of nearby Meat into gold powder.

Notes

• The gold conversion is not entirely proportional to the size of the enemy, and can have some random deviation.
• Worm Meat is converted into Wormy Gold, which gives much less gold proportionally than normal meat.
• The corpse of the Master of Polymorphing is not affected by this perk.
• The corpses of Masters and Cursed Meat will be converted into Toxic Gold.
• The corpses of innocent creatures will be converted into Fool's Gold.
• The vines in the Underground Jungle, once dislodged from the wall, are considered Slimy Meat and, as such, will be converted into gold.

Interactions

• Has an anti-synergy with Exploding Corpses, since corpses that have detonated will be converted into significantly less gold.
