Technical Prowess

NOTE: This page is outdated! Technical Prowess has been completely overhauled since the 1.5 update, and this page does not reflect that yet.

Technical Prowess is a passive Perk. When picked up, it sets the player to a custom faction that robots are friendly to. Robots will not attempt to assist the player in combat and will still attempt to retaliate if attacked, but they will not be naturally hostile towards the player.

The player also becomes immune to electricity.

Notes

  • Healers, Ghosts, and Mages are more likely to be friendly to the player in this state.
  • Nearby Oil will be transmuted to temporary water, effectively rendering the player immune to its slippery effects as well.

Interactions

  • Plague Rats will override the perk's ability by setting the player's faction to the rats. The electricity immunity will remain.
  • Note: This perk does not work on many robotic enemies from the New Enemies And Bosses mod, due to many of them not being properly set to the robotic faction.
