Juvenile Centipedes (in-game name Nuori Tuhatjalkainen) are colossal insects which can be found prowling the Underground Jungle.
They possess high speed, durability and a devastating bite, however, will reward the player with two Extra Max Health pick ups on death.
Unlike most worms, Juvenile Centipedes will not destroy the terrain behind them.
Combat Tips
- Freezing spells or spell modifiers allow you to kick and kill it instantly. It thaws relatively quickly, so act fast.
- If you kill it in this way, it will not bleed, and thus you will get no centipede blood.
- As the Centipede's only means of attack is biting the player, melee immunity makes Juvenile Centipedes harmless.
- Its head is the only part of it that can deal damage, allowing you to use spells like chainsaw on the body for a high risk/reward payoff.
- Try to fight near a fire or create one if possible, the larger the better. Centipedes are not immune to burn damage and will catch fire if it moves through burning material. If the fire is large enough it may reignite several times.
