Oil is a flammable 液体 that floats on top of all other liquids due to its low density. It is found in a large number of sources, from environmental to creature blood, as well as spells and a perk.
特性
Submerging yourself in oil gives you the 
オイル status, which makes you slippery and more vulnerable to 炎. However, submerging yourself in oil while you are already 
オンファイヤー will put the fire out and not ignite the oil, as fire requires air.
Oil is the least dense stable liquid in the game, causing it to sit atop all other liquids.
Sources
- Found in various biomes.
- Lanterns found in the 鉱山, 崩壊した鉱山, 炭坑, and 古代研究所.
- Sea Mines found in the 炭坑 and 砂の洞窟.
- Emitted as blood from robotic enemies.
- Created from some 呪文 such as オイルの輪 and オイルの手.
- Has a 5.44% chance to be chosen for カオス変異.
- Has a 4.847% chance to be an outcome of a キノコシフト.
- When a potion is chosen for a pedestal, there is a ~2.27% chance it will be
オイル. - Appears when hit while having the オイルの血 特典.
- アルケミスティ has a ~7.14% chance to throw an oil potion.
- There is a chance of finding オイル in a 宝箱.

Oil will bleed from these enemies.
