  • Adding an expiration trigger to a quantum split explosive box allows us to kick/carry around one of the copied boxes as a remote trigger for the primary box. (Applying path modifiers such as homing help separate the primary box from the clones.) With teleporting spells as the payload for the trigger, this allows one to teleport back to the primary box by exploding a kicked/carried clone; unfortunately, this setup does not survive saving and reloading (and might not survive long wait times, distances, or plentiful player&enemy projectiles (untested)). With homing on the box and particularly dangerous payloads, this may provide a small safety benefit as there is some amount of control over the time of detonation. These same types of tactic does not appear to work applied to quantum splitting infiniwisps, as the copies do not inherit lifetime modifiers, and effectively block the formation of infiniwisps. Perhaps some other type of naturally long-lasting projectile might have better "durability" for use as a remote trigger.
    • A variant on this approach uses a dormant crystal with a trigger with teleport payload and a boomerang quantum split explosive box (and maybe a poly safety egg with explosive detonator). This removes the need to kick or carry around a box, but appears to have quite limited duration and/or range. The duration might be addressable if the boxes have infiniwisp versions, but there are likely range limitations that would still apply. The closest to teleporting to a fixed point on demand / on poly is probably an infiniwisp homebringer teleport bolt, but this does not often survive saves and reloads.
  • Quantum split can be used with various explosives to generate materials. E.g., bomb carts are a source of metal and rusted metal, and deercoys a source of meat of an innocent creature, if needed for alchemy recipes. It can also be used to obtain a few fuse materials (e.g., ping pong path quantum split holy bomb sometimes gives dud holy bombs consisting of holy matter), although these might not have any application.
