Aberrant Child

Freaky and toxic slime abomination, nicknamed the Slime Monkey, can spawn either in the virulent caverns Orb Room in Apotheosis mod or in normal New Game Plus. This guy spawns from the middle of a mass of mother slime and moves around my grabbing onto walls with his tentacles. The boss attacks by shooting a tongue which can grab the player towards it. It also has significant melee damage.

If you get too far away it launches 8 to 10 Toxic shots from a distance that hit randomly on your screen with a warning. Explosion Immunity does not protect from these.

The boss occasionally spawns radioactive mutant worms which can shoot a barrage of slime balls.
