Mechanical Worms (in-game name Mekaaninenmato) are giant robotic worms which prowl the Power Plant and will relentlessly hunt the player until they die or leave the biome.
Once a Mekaaninenmato spots the player, it will begin pursuing them.
While in pursuit, the worm will make use of 3 laser turrets mounted on them to provide constant fire while their main attack, a deadly laser beam, charges up.
The worm will emit a blue beam alongside particles surrounding their jaw for a few seconds before unleashing their laser beam attack, avoiding the beam is recommended as it's easily capable of 300 damage every second contact with the beam is maintained.
Tips
- While boasting a large array of weaponry, speed and formidable durability, it has a significant weakness to Electric damage.
- If the worm is too overwhelming to combat, the player can leave the power plant biome and the worm will loose interest in the player.
