Esoteric Worms (in-game name Esoteerinenmato) are extremely small black and white worms which can only appear through Chaotic Polymorphine, or within the Abyssum.
Similarly to Rajoitettumato, they are immune to damage on all their segments except for their tail piece.
In addition to only having their tail piece vulnerable however, they are immune, if not highly resistant to all damage types except for Holy and Curse damage.
Due to the worm's durability, resistances and overall rarity, they can be especially difficult targets to hunt down.
Holy Lance and a powerful digging build to enter the Abyssum may be required to acquire kill credit for one.
