From my tests with unstable Teleportatium is it does teleport you in the direction your facing. The catch is its not all the time as it can randomly choose a random direction instead of the one your facing and the distance is also random. Where as Teleportatium will always teleport you as far as it can in that faced direction choosing the opposite direction when the direction your facing is unable to be teleported to, from my testing im essentially saying it acts like Teleportatium with more unreliability in your control of it.
