Talk:Expert Guide: Discards from the Hand

The reason I moved the previous incarnation of this guide out into individual spells was to try and make the info more discoverable (e.g. I figure someone looking at Matter Eater might want to know how to bypass the use limit, but not necessarily be ready for the expert level guides) - might be good to keep the really useful examples like that in the spell's page, and then use them as a hook to get people into the deeper wandcrafting? -flowsINtomAyHeM (talk) 06:31, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

I like that idea! It felt like this mechanic be on its own page, or part of some other non-spell-specific page, and I wasn't sure how much to keep/duplicate in Matter Eater. A little duplication does seem useful. Leaftenant (talk) 04:54, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

It ought to be possible to build up a library of example wands/explanations, and then transclude them into the individual spell articles - maybe using Labeled_Section_Transclusion if that works on this wiki. So long as the information is only actually edited in a single place it can be included in many others.
