Chaotic Polymorph Crystal
- Not to be confused with its regular polymorph variant Polymorph Crystal.
The Kaaoottinenpolymorfinenkivi (in-game name Chaotic Polymorph Crystal) is a stationary crystal which can be found anywhere in the world, but can most easily be located within the Cloudscape, it should be approached with caution as it has a Chaotic Polymorph Aura surrounding it.
Behavior
Kaaoottinenpolymorfinen kivi is completely stationary crystal with an aura surrounding it which will polymorph any nearby creature if they stay within it's reach for too long, transforming it's victim into a random monster.
While attempting to destroy Chaotic Polymorph Crystals, keeping out of their range and shooting from a distance is a good means to deal with it, utilising homing or other means to hit behind corners can be useful for destroying Chaotic Polymorph Crystals in tricky locations, but teleport bolt can also be used to get in range to shoot it and escape before it's polymorph effect can afflict you.
The Chaotic polymorph effect lasts significantly longer than it's normal polymorphine version, which while it can be very detrimental if you're transformed into a vulnerable creature, it can also be used to dig through to parallel worlds if you transform into something like a Helvetinmato
