Fungal Disease is a perk that makes it so while you are within a short distance of an enemy, you emit bursts of spore pods at a rapid rate, similar to a Prickly Spore Pod. In some circumstances, these will grow into Blue or Weird Fungus after landing.
Interactions
- Has anti-synergy with any Permanent Shield perks or shielding spells, as it will rapidly break all layers of shield around you.
Charmed enemies, such as from Eggs, will still trigger spore pods, which can cause the enemies to attack you.
Stacking
Stacking this perk creates more spore pods when near enemies.
Transformation
When you have Fungal Disease, Cordyceps, and Fungal Colony you will be granted the Funky Transformation, which will cause your head to turn into a mushroom and give you 10% resistance to explosion damage.
