The Chasm (also known as the Shaft) is a very small area between the Lava Lake and Orb Room to the right of the Mines. The biome itself is mostly empty, with a few things off to the sides.
Points of Interest
There are two things embedded in the left wall of the chasm: An Orb of True Knowledge, which can be discovered by paying attention to the music, and the Racetrack, found in an area where the Extremely Dense Rock turns into Dense Rock with a small crack. To the right, there is another Orb of True Knowledge, accessible by a bridge and guarded by Sauvojen tuntija.
Notes
- Occasionally, the bridge between the lava lake and orb room over the chasm can be broken. This isn't much a problem, however, since the distance can be levitated over quite easily.
- The bridge is also very weak and can be broken by pretty much any form of digging or explosions; even a Magic Arrow.
- Going to the bottom of this pit will lead you to the top left edge of Snowy Depths. This is also useful if you want to explore either side of the surface but don't have the equipment in Mines.
- There is an image embedded in the background close to the bottom that shows music notes, which are the notes for the Kantele to open a portal to the Mountain.
