Paha Silmä
The Paha Silmä (listen 
) (lit. Evil Eye) is a rare inventory item.
It continuously emits a short-ranged red plasma beam while on hand and when thrown, similar to the Personal Plasma Beam perk. Although it can destroy powders, liquids, and softer materials, the beam lacks the power of Plasma Beam spells, and cannot dig through harder solids such as Rock. Nonetheless, the beam deals high damage per second to any creature that touches it.
A single Paha Silmä will always spawn atop a spire in the Snowy Wasteland, a short distance away from the Giant Tree. It can also spawn as a reward from Treasure Chests, at a 0.75% chance.
Tips
- If you have a way to climb the tree and avoid the Happonuljaska, the Paha Silmä can serve as a reliable source of high damage, early in a playthrough.
- Combined with a Tannerkivi, the Paha Silmä can be used for early Extremely Dense Rock digging, if somewhat awkward.
- Holding Paha Silmä will not break invisibility, making it a good synergy with Invisibility.
- Certain invisible enemies will be revealed when Paha Silmä is nearby.
- SPOILER: Bringing it to the Music Machine near the Lake or the Pyramid will reveal a trail of glowing platforms towards their respective Cloudscape
