The Cards of Isaac
The Cards of Isaac is a mod that adds over 20 cards from The Binding of Isaac to Noita! The 22 cards of the Major Arcana are available to be found, as well as 7 rare special cards...
Face-down cards may occasionally be found orbiting a pedestal Item, pedestal Wand, Treasure Chest, or Extra Max Health. Flipping the card will reveal its effect and allow it to be taken, but it will destroy the item that the card is orbiting! Picking up the item instead will destroy the card, so choose wisely!
4% of cards will be special cards: A unique pool of 7 cards with more powerful effects.
The mod also adds 1 new perk: Tarot Cloth. The perk has no passive effect, but it spawns a card upon being picked up, and enhances the effects of any card you use while the perk is held.
Regular Cards
0 - The Fool
"Where journey begins"
Teleports you into the exit passage of the last Holy Mountain you entered, or the beginning of the game in the Forest if no mountain has been entered.
Tarot Cloth: Grants 30 seconds of Faster Movement and
Faster levitation.
I - The Magician
"May you never miss your goal"
Grants 90 seconds of The Magician: Any damaging projectile you fire gains a powerful homing effect. Spells like Teleport Bolt and Healing Bolt that deal no (positive) damage by default will not gain homing unless damage is added.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 135 seconds.
II - The High Priestess
"Mother is watching you"
Fires a powerful explosive rocket from the sky towards the enemy with the most health within 200 pixels. If no enemies are nearby, the rocket will target you instead. The rocket takes 1.33s to hit its target, dealing 130 Explosion damage and strongly digging terrain in a radius of 55 pixels.
Tarot Cloth: Another rocket strikes down 0.66s after the first, with the same damage and digging strength.
III - The Empress
"May your rage bring power"
Grants 90 seconds of The Empress: You gain Faster Movement and Damage plus small for the duration of the effect.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 135 seconds.
IV - The Emperor
"Challenge me!"
Scans downwards 6 chunks for a Holy Mountain entrance portal. If it finds one, the card teleports you down to it, despawns the portal, and spawns a Toimari on both sides of the brickwork structure.
If the card would have no effect, it turns grey in your inventory and cannot be used.
Tarot Cloth: Grants 15 seconds of
Protection from all on a successful teleport.
V - The Hierophant
"Two prayers for the lost"
Spawns two Soul Hearts that can be picked up. Each Soul Heart provides 30 health when picked up that acts as a shield, depleting before your normal health without counting as damage taken for the Undamaged trophy.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns an additional Soul Heart.
VI - The Lovers
"May you prosper and be in good health"
Spawns two Red Hearts that can be picked up. Each Red Heart heals 30 health when picked up, and cannot be picked up while your health is full.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns an additional Red Heart.
VII - The Chariot
"May nothing stand before you"
Grants 10 seconds of The Chariot: Wands cannot be fired, but you gain Faster Movement and Protection from all, and deal 48 Melee damage per second to nearby enemies.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 15 seconds.
VIII - Justice
"May your future become balanced"
Spawns a 50 nugget, a random Egg, a Red Heart, and a Soul Heart.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns an additional 50
in Blood Money and an additional random Egg.
IX - The Hermit
"May you see what life has to offer"
Spawns 4 purchasable items on small platforms around you. These items can be: A Red Heart for 5-25 , a Soul Heart for 15-35
, a random Perk for 700-1000
, a tier 1-5 Wand for 200-300
, or a random Potion for 100-250
.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns 6 purchasable items instead of 4.
X - Wheel of Fortune
"Spin the wheel of destiny"
Spawns either a Slot Machine (2/3) or a Fortune Telling Machine (1/3). Both machines cost 25 gold to play and can be destroyed when sustaining enough damage.
Slot Machines pay out 40% of the time (75% with Lucky Clover), and can pay out with Gold, a small Mana upgrade to all of your held wands, a Red Heart, Soul Heart, a random Card, a Bomb, or several Hämis.
When paying out, Slot Machines have a 1/12 to explode, causing no damage to you but rendering the machine unusable. If this happens, there's a 2/3 chance that the machine will spawn one of the following:
Gamble,
Greed, and (if Graham's Things is enabled)
IOU or
Life Lottery.
Fortune Telling Machines pay out 20% of the time (35% with Lucky Clover), and can pay out with a random Card or a Soul Heart.
When paying out, Slot Machines have a 1/12 to explode, causing no damage to you but rendering the machine unusable. If this happens, there's a 2/3 chance that the machine will spawn one of the following:
Extra Life,
Phasing, and (if Graham's Things is enabled)
Fortune Teller or
Wandering Eyes.
When failing to pay out, Fortune Telling Machines will display a random fortune.

Tarot Cloth: Spawns both a Slot Machine and a Fortune Telling Machine.
XI - Strength
"May your power bring rage"
Grants 30 seconds of Strength: You take 50% less damage, are 25% larger, gain 30 maximum and current health, and your damaging projectiles gain larger explosion damage, larger explosion radius, and increased digging power.
The maximum health is lost when the effect ends.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 45 seconds.
XII - The Hanged Man
"May you find enlightenment"
Grants 60 seconds of The Hanged Man: Your personal gravity is greatly decreased, and you can fly freely up or down by pressing [W] or [S] respectively.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 90 seconds.
XIII - Death
"Lay waste to all that oppose you"
Deals 20 damage plus 1/4 of the enemy's max HP to all enemies in a 200 pixel radius. Enemies killed by the effect will dissolve into Sand, creating a Devil ghost that homes towards nearby enemies and explodes, dealing 20 damage.
If the card would have no effect, it turns grey in your inventory and cannot be used.
Tarot Cloth: Base damage is increased to 40.
XIV - Temperance
"May you be pure in heart"
Spawns a Blood Donation Machine.
Blood Donation Machines can be used to deduct 8, always paying out with 10
or more.
When paying out, Blood Donation Machines have a 1/12 to explode, causing no damage to you but rendering the machine unusable. If this happens, there's a 2/3 chance that the machine will spawn one of the following:
Extra Health,
More Blood, and (if Graham's Things is enabled)
Bleeding Edge or
Bloody Bonus.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns 2 Blood Donation Machines.
XV - The Devil
"Revel in the power of darkness"
Grants 60 seconds of The Devil: You gain Damage plus small for the duration of the effect. Each damaging projectile you fire has a 1/8 chance to create a Devil ghost
when it expires.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 90 seconds.
XVI - The Tower
"Destruction brings creation"
Grants 3 seconds of The Tower: Every 0.5s, a Bomb will spawn around you! These bombs ignore gravity and deal 125 Explosion damage to anything caught in the blast.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 4.5 seconds, spawning 9 bombs instead of 6.
XVII - The Stars
"May you find what you desire"
Teleports you to the first Orb Room within a 13x13 chunk box centered on you.
If the card would have no effect, it turns grey in your inventory and cannot be used.
Tarot Cloth: If the Orb of True Knowledge is still present in the entered Orb Room and it is not corrupted, its orb ID is increased by 128, effectively turning it into an Orb of Corrupted Knowledge (specifically, one from the West Parallel World).
XVIII - The Moon
"May you find all you have lost"
Teleports you to the first ??? within a 13x13 chunk box centered on you. Any biome named ??? is valid for this teleportation.
If the card would have no effect, it turns grey in your inventory and cannot be used.
Tarot Cloth: Also casts All-Seeing Eye onto the destination location.
XIX - The Sun
"May the light heal and enlighten you"
Triggers the effects of Death and The World, restores half of your max health, and cures Blindness.
Tarot Cloth: Triggers the Tarot Cloth effects of Death and The World.
XX - Judgement
"Judge lest ye be judged"
Spawns a Greedy Orb . Kicking the orb deducts 40
and has a 1/16 chance to destroy the orb and spawn a random Perk. When the orb is kicked, the chance for this to trigger decreases to 1/14, then to 1/12, etc. The orb will never spawn its perk on the first 2 kicks. The orb can also be thrown with a weak Boomerang effect.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns 2 Greedy Orbs.
XXI - The World
"Open your eyes and see"
Casts All-Seeing Eye horizontally over 6 chunks, lighting up all terrain nearby. If the middle of the main path is within this range, the light will be centered on the middle instead of you, usually lighting up the entire floor.
Tarot Cloth: Grants 60 seconds of the All-Seeing Eye (Perk) effect.
Special Cards
Rules Card
"???"
Displays a random Fortune.
Tarot Cloth: Displays 2 random Fortunes.
Credit Card
"Charge it!"
Removes the price of every purchasable item within 300 pixels. This also applies to the Perk Reroll Machine, granting one free reroll, but does not apply to Slot Machines or Fortune Telling Machines.
If the card would have no effect, it turns grey in your inventory and cannot be used.
Tarot Cloth: The card has a 50% chance to not be destroyed when used.
Chaos Card
"???"
Throws the Chaos Card as a fast projectile with a slight arc in the direction you're aiming. The card penetrates enemies, dealing 100,000 Curse damage to anything it hits -- including you. Firing a Chaos Card at an enemy with a shield or any sort of repulsion that may arc the Chaos Card back towards you is strongly discouraged.
The Chaos Card does not inherit any projectile effects directly given by perks (Bouncing Spells, Boomerang Spells, etc.), but will be affected by perks that affect all projectiles (Projectile Repulsion Field, Projectile Repulsion Sector, etc.)
Tarot Cloth: Throws an additional Chaos Card directly behind you.
Suicide King
"A true ending?"
Attempts to kill you, by first removing Protection from all, then staining you with Blood to disable Stainless Armour, then dealing twice your current HP as Curse damage to you.
Then, spawns 4 Red Hearts, 4 Soul Hearts, 3 random tier 1-5 Wands, a random Perk, and 2 random Spells.
Extra Life or Saving Grace can save you from an instant game over from this effect.
Tarot Cloth: Spawns an additional perk and 2 additional spells.
Reverse Card
"No you"
Grants 45 seconds of Reversal: All incoming enemy damage dealt to you is reflected back to the enemy that dealt it, if the enemy is still alive to receive the damage. This does not apply to self-damage or damage dealt by non-enemy sources (such as Wall traps.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 67.5 seconds.
Wild Card
"Again"
Triggers the effect of the most recent card you used, twice. Can be stacked, to up to 16 activations of a single card.
If the card would have no effect, it turns grey in your inventory and cannot be used.
Tarot Cloth: Activates the Tarot Cloth effect of whatever card it copied, if possible.
A Card Against Humanity
"Something stinks..."
Grants 3 seconds of A Card Against Humanity: A giant circle of Excrement appears, centered on where you activated the card. Some parts of the circle may be converted into Gold, Silver, Fungi, Honey, Toxic Meat, or other strange materials.
Tarot Cloth: Effect duration is increased to 4.5 seconds, allowing the circle to spread larger.
