Bird
A phoenix which spawns from a column of fire in the orb room to the right of the Lava Lake in the first area. This boss is disabled by default and it does not prevent the pit boss from spawning, it only spawns the pit boss lower down to let fighting it optional. This boss shoots fireballs with its claws and it can dash in the air making it quite challenging, although the boss itself does not have too much hp.
The boss's health and damage scale with orbs taken and at 5+ orbs it gets a secondary long range phoenix formation attack which reaches anywhere in the world. Other than this its fireball attacks also get more aggressive and powerful with orbs.
This boss is an orb room guardian and drops an orb, some gold and a fire spell ("GRENADE", "FLAMETHROWER", "FIREBALL") on death.
