Mätänevä ruumis (listen 
) (also known as Rotting Corpse) is a unique enemy found in The Vault and Frozen Vault.
Behavior
It begins by flinging Fireball projectiles at you, but when it is killed, it splits in two:
- Mätänevä kroppa (listen ) (Rotting body) will move rather erratically while attacking with the same projectile.
- Mätänevä pää (listen ) (Rotting head) will come off and fly around, charging targets when close and exploding on death. This enemy seldom jumps and moves fairly quickly.
Combat Tips
- As with other spawning enemies, explosives can be useful to destroy both the body and head at once.
- This enemy has a deceptive amount of health and a fairly small hitbox which makes hitting it difficult with projectiles such as that of the Energy Orb spell.
