Levitation Trail

Levitation Trail is a Perk which causes you to leave behind a trail of damaging sparks, creating sparks every three frames when you levitate.

The sparks deal 3 damage each, and linger in the air for up to 5 seconds before expiring. Individual sparks will also expire upon dealing damage to an enemy.

Interactions

  • This perk's sparks do not damage objects such as oil barrels.
  • The sparks are projectiles and are affected by Homing Shots. When homing, the sparks can freely move through terrain, behaving as though they have Drilling Shot.
  • The sparks are able to damage friendly characters or pets such as the Homunculus or Plague Rats, which will cause those characters to retaliate against you.
    • Because these pets are immune to other attacks by you, this is suspected to be a bug.
  • The sparks will collide with the Energy Shield or Energy Shield Sector spells and the Permanent Shield perk, causing the shields to repeatedly break and need to recharge frequently.
  • The sparks will gain the effects of Glass Cannon. This synergizes well with Homing Shots.
  • You will not create a trail while invisible. However, you also cannot become invisible while the trail is firing.
    • If you wish to make use of the Invisibility perk, you must wait for it to activate before levitating.
  • You can be damaged by your own sparks whilst polymorphed, which makes this perk quite hazardous around Polymorphine.
  • The damage dealt by the sparks will trigger a Vaihdosmestari's position swap with you.
