Exploding Gold is a perk that causes gold nuggets to explode on contact with enemies or you. The explosions can destroy terrain, but don't hurt you. Even though the perk can appear multiple times, stacking it gives no extra benefits.
Synergies
- Taking Trick Greed will increase the number of damaging nuggets that are created when an enemy dies.
- Taking Attract Gold will cause nuggets to gravitate towards you, which can result in them hitting enemies more easily than they normally would.
- Glass Cannon increases the radius and damage the gold nuggets do, though not substantially.
Issues
- While they can't damage you themselves, the explosions can damage props, which may set off explosives near you. This causes Gold nuggets to be a possible trigger for environmental hazards, which can result in fatal explosions near props like Propane Tanks.
