Inner Spell

Spells useful primarily for changing the point of origin of other spells, most of which employ an Expiration Trigger to do so.
An Expiration Trigger is defined as a spell that casts another spell after the projectile has run out of lifetime or is destroyed by a spell like Spells To Power.
Expiration Triggers will ignore the usual cast delay modifiers of the spells they contain.
If a projectile with an Expiration Trigger is removed while stationary, including when it dies due to collision with terrain, its payload will be released in a random direction (unconstrained by nearby terrain); this is not the case if it is removed while moving due to hitting an entity, its projectile lifetime or any alternative component lifetime running out, death from the projectile running out of HP (Pollen), or removal via Explosive Detonator, Spells to Power, or other Spells to... spells.
Makes a projectile cast another spell upon expiring
Black Hole with Death Trigger
A slow orb of void that eats through all obstacles and casts another spell as it expires
Dormant Crystal With Trigger
A crystal that explodes and casts another spell when caught in an explosion
Summon Hollow Egg
Summons an otherwise empty egg that casts a spell upon cracking open
Unstable Crystal With Trigger
A crystal that explodes and casts another spell when someone comes nearby
Delayed Spellcast
A static, magical phenomenon that casts 3 extra spells after a short while
Long-Distance Cast
Casts a spell some distance away from the caster
Teleporting Cast
Casts a spell from the closest enemy
Warp Cast
Makes a spell immediately jump a long distance, stopped by walls
Note: Unlike Trigger and Timer, spells that include an Expiration trigger do not have a consistent badge applied to their icon.
Expiration Durations
Expiration Triggers fire when their projectile dies. This means that you can adjust the duration before the trigger fires by modifying the projectile's lifetime. Using the range of spells that modify projectile lifetime, or add an alternative lifetime limit, you can gain a fine level of control over the trigger delay.
